COVID-19 has taken a toll on all industries, but the sustained recession it appears to be producing is hitting an energy industry, still reeling from the last downturn, particularly hard. We will provide energy litigators with a basic understanding of bankruptcy proceedings and will discuss how the COVID-19 driven turndown is different and how it can affect strategies of creditors, debtors and litigants during what appears to be a sustained downturn.
