The NREL Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center conducted an analysis of federal and private venture capital investments in climate tech sectors. We observe thriving and mature startup and investment activity in solar and wind thanks to enabling federal commitments. Several emerging climate tech sectors are now primed for increased private investment activity and appear to be maturing at an accelerated rate. Katie will provide an overview of the findings and share other key discoveries from NREL market analyses.
