On November 10, 2020, IEL presented its Lifetime Achievement in Energy Litigaiton Award to Diana E. Marshall. Ms. Marshall was introduced by Don Jordan, former Chairman and CEO of Reliant Energy. Ms. Marshall addressed her life as a kid growing up in a West Texas oil camp, obtaining a job as a typist for a world-renowned trial attorney to support her family, starting law school, becoming the first female hired by Baker Botts out of law school, and representing energy clients.
MCLE credit has not been obtained for this program and will not be requested by The Center for American and International Law. This program is unlikely to qualify for MCLE in any jurisdictions.
