As a regulatory advocate, Allison develops strategies for working with agencies, helps clients participate in state and federal rulemakings, and advises on compliance issues. Allison has litigated cases in state and federal venues across the country, including enforcement actions, toxic tort cases, class actions, and appeals of permits and federal agency rulemakings. She has experience across all environmental media (air, water, and waste) and has particular experience in air-related issues, having defended Clean Air Act enforcement actions and citizen suits, developed plans for compliance with Regional Haze obligations, and drafted comments on over fifty EPA rulemakings under the Clean Air Act.
