Brad is a partner in the Energy and Infrastructure practice group of the global law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. Brad has diverse expertise across the entire energy sector, with a particular focus on midstream oil and gas, renewable energy and conventional power. He has worked extensively on mergers and acquisitions, project development, finance and other transactional matters within the energy industry. He represents private equity investors, sponsors and developers in a range of transactions involving energy-related projects and businesses.

Brad was a member of Orrick’s founding class of partners that launched the firm’s Houston office in 2016. Before joining Orrick, Brad spent five years at Baker Botts LLP as part of its Global Energy Projects practice group and six years at McDermott, Will & Emery LLP, helping to build out its Energy Projects practice. Brad has contributed to and led some of Orrick’s most significant matters in the oil and gas, renewable energy, and conventional power industries since he joined the firm. The Legal 500 USA has recognized Brad for his oil and gas transactional skills and has named him one of Super Lawyers’ Texas Rising Stars for Energy & Natural Resources (Thomson Reuters) each year from 2013–2019.
