Prof. Dr. Danae Azaria is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Laws at University College London.  Prof. Dr. Azaria is one of the world’s leading expert on energy transit law. Her 2015 book, “Treaties on Transit of Energy via Pipelines and Countermeasures” (Oxford University Press) received the 2016 Paul Guggenheim Prize.  Prof. Dr. Azaria is currently the Principal Investigator of State Silence funded by a European Research Council Grant.  She is a frequent commentator on energy arbitrations and has significant expertise on the law of treaties, the law of state responsibility and international energy law.
