Elena is a Managing Director and Houston Team Head for the Energy + Group under Société Générale’s Natural Resources & Infrastructure business, focusing on structuring & lending and advisory solutions for clients across the energy spectrum. Throughout her career at Société Générale, Elena has led debt transactions, multi-disciplinary teams, and provided financial and capital raising advice to clients in the midstream and upstream space and is now focusing among others on emerging decarbonization and other energy transition opportunities on the advisory and financing side. Prior to Société Générale, Elena’s experience includes working for a European private equity firm and for a U.S. hedge fund on the investments side.

Elena holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Cox School of Business at the Southern Methodist University, and a B.B.A. from The Academy of Economics in Romania, and is fluent in Romanian, Spanish, and French.
