Mr. Barth’s practice incorporates a broad range of regulatory, infrastructure development, litigation and transactional matters specific to the energy industry, encompassing nearly all aspects of energy regulation. The clients he represents include major electric, natural gas, oil, and renewable energy companies. He has represented clients in connection with energy and environmental matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. Department of Energy, and other federal and state regulatory agencies. He has extensive litigation experience in both federal and state courts, as well as in contested hearings before administrative law judges at FERC.   Mr. Barth also represents clients before the Federal Communications Commission and assists with licensing and auction matters.  He recently assisted a client in securing approval for a submarine cable transaction that was reviewed under the new Committee for the Assessment of Foreign Participation in the United States Telecommunications Services Sector process.
