Gabriel Salinas is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Avant Energy, a Riverstone Holdings LLC portfolio company, focused on the development of energy midstream and power projects.  Prior to Avant Energy, Gabriel was a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP.  Gabriel has extensive experience in cross-border M&A and projects in the energy and infrastructure sectors.  Dual- licensed in New York. and Mexico, Gabriel has a J.D. degree from the Facultad Libre de Derecho de Monterrey and an LL.M degree from Harvard Law School.
