Kevin Clark is Managing Counsel at Total Specialties USA, Inc. (“TSUSA”), the downstream marketing and services affiliate of Total in the United States. TSUSA has production facilities in Linden, New Jersey and Houston, Texas. It sells aviation fuel and a wide range of lubricants and special fluids. Kevin joined the company in January 2018. Kevin provides and coordinates all of TSUSA’s legal needs, which focus on commercial contracting, corporate governance, regulatory advice, and dispute avoidance and resolution. Kevin is also the head of Total’s U.S. pro bono program. In addition to leading that effort, he represents undocumented immigrants and veterans and their families through Kids in Need of Defense and Houston Volunteer Lawyers. Before joining Total, Kevin was a commercial litigation partner at King & Spalding. In that role Kevin tried a wide variety of commercial cases, ranging from land-use disputes in Arizona to multi-billion dollar construction arbitrations in Texas. Kevin has undergraduate (2001) and law degrees (2006) from the University of Texas at Austin. Kevin is married to Alycia Clark and they have three children, a dog, a betta, and a blue mystery snail. Kevin is also a member of the board of directors of DiverseWorks, an art non-profit in Houston.
