Luke Tanner focuses his practice on serving clients in the energy industry. He works on a variety of energy-related matters, including upstream and midstream oil and gas transactions, energy financing and the development of energy projects.

Luke has experience in oil and gas land management, ranging from field work to asset management. While in law school, he worked as a landman for the Lower 48 asset team of an FTSE 100 company based in Houston. In addition, Luke has experience working in-house as upstream counsel at a large independent exploration and production company, where he was the principal legal contact for the business development group on all upstream transactions.
