Stacey Saunders is Managing Counsel for Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company’s (CNAEP) Mid-Continent business (MCBU). Stacey and the MCBU Law team support Chevron’s large resource base of oil and liquids-rich assets in the mid-continent United States, including Chevron’s significant Permian assets in Texas and New Mexico. Stacey’s prior roles over 20 years with Chevron and Texaco include Managing Counsel for CNAEP Headquarters and Appalachian/Michigan Business Unit, Supervising and Lead Counsel for CNAEP Deepwater Business Unit, and earlier attorney roles supporting U.S. upstream onshore and offshore transactional, regulatory, royalty and litigation matters. Before joining Chevron, Stacey was a litigation and bankruptcy associate at Hughes Watters & Askanase, LLP in Houston, Texas. She holds a J.D. from the University of Texas and a B.S. in International Economic from Texas Tech University.
