Elizabeth McGinley leads Bracewell’s Carbon Capture Utilization & Storage (CCUS) team and is chair of Bracewell's tax department. She advises strategic and financial investors on tax issues arising in connection with the energy transition including federal tax credits and investment structures. As part of her traditional energy transactional practice, Liz regularly advises clients on acquisitions, dispositions, project development, joint ventures and debt and equity investments. She represents both public and private energy companies as well as private equity funds. Liz is recognized by Chambers USA among America's leading lawyers for tax (2012-2022).
