Greg Bean was appointed as the Executive Director of Gutierrez Energy Management Institute at the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston in January 2018. He has a passion for education and its impact on students and economic development in Houston. Greg has over thirty years of global oil and gas management consulting experience in the upstream, downstream, midstream and oil field service sectors, including major corporate, business unit and capital investment strategy assignments and organization-restructuring efforts. Prior to his consulting career, he spent five years with ExxonMobil in refining and supply and trading functions.
