Kera Gautreau

Greater Houston Partnership

Kera leads development and implementation of key workstreams and cross-cutting enablers that leverage Houston’s energy leadership to accelerate global solutions for a low-carbon future as Senior Director of the Houston Energy Transition Initiative (HETI) at The Greater Houston Partnership. Her work has a particular focus on industrial decarbonization, power management, and advanced recycling for circular economy. She identifies opportunities for Houston to lead the world in decarbonizing high-emitting and hard-to-abate sectors with minimal impact on the regional power grid.

Prior to joining the Partnership, Kera held technical and leadership roles across the global energy industry, including leading and managing projects around the world for Chevron. Her most recent role as an industry consultant combined her upstream project development expertise and strategic relationship management success to advise private equity clients on M&A projects and conduct audits and evaluations of key regulatory and governance reporting obligations.
