Kerstie Clark

Hess Corporation

Kerstie Clark has served as legal counsel for onshore operations at Hess Corporation since September of 2019. In this role Kerstie supports both the upstream and midstream business functions for operations conducted in the North Dakota Bakken shale play.

Before joining the legal group at Hess, Kerstie practiced energy and corporate transactional law at Locke Lord LLP from September of 2016 through September of 2019. While at Locke Lord, Kerstie represented both upstream and midstream energy clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and other general corporate and commercial matters. She was involved with several complex business transactions and negotiations of the related principal contracts.

Kerstie graduated from the University of Oklahoma, Michael F. Price College of Business, with a B.A., and from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, with a J.D.

Outside of her role at Hess, Kerstie is a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Parade Committee and looks forward to participating in the annual parade in downtown Houston that kicks off the rodeo season each year. Kerstie is also an active participant of the IEL Young Energy Professionals and was selected for the 2020-2021 IEL Leadership Class.

Kerstie and her husband, Dakota, have two children, Briggs (age 3) and Andi (age 2).
