Ben Sweet serves as Counsel – Chevron Upstream Law, North America Litigation Management in Houston, Texas.  He currently works with a team of lawyers that handles all litigation involving Chevron’s upstream assets and operations in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, as well as offshore US.  Ben’s work focuses primarily on royalty matters, environmental disputes, and offshore decommissioning.  Prior to joining Chevron in 2019, Ben worked at the Houston office of Baker Botts L.L.P. for nine years. Ben is a graduate of Harvard Law School (J.D.) and Vanderbilt University (B.A.).
