Ryan Lamb

Ryan Lamb currently serves as an Attorney-Advisor in the Division of Mineral Resources with the Office of the Solicitor at the Department of the Interior in Washington, D.C. He also serves as the National Lead Coordinator for the Bankruptcy Practice Group within the Solicitor’s Office. In his capacity as an Attorney-Advisor, Mr. Lamb advises the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement on implementation and enforcement of the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act and specializes in the administration of the Department’s statutory and regulatory authority against distressed and restructuring lessees in the offshore sector. As the National Lead Coordinator, Mr. Lamb works with the Practice Group to seamlessly ensure the Department’s bureaus and offices rights are protected in complex and challenging restructuring and bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Lamb also advises the Bureau of Land Management’s implementation of its onshore oil and gas leasing program. Prior to joining the Office of the Solicitor, Mr. Lamb served as a Law Clerk in both Bankruptcy Court and Federal District Court and was a bankruptcy and commercial litigation practitioner in private practice.
